"I love the freedom of being my own boss!"

Kathy Pleu was born and raised in Oklahoma by a loving dad who taught her that she could be and do anything she could dream or want. A licensed realtor and front desk coordinator at Keller Williams Preferred in Tulsa, Kathy has also been involved in network marketing for 20 years. “I was introduced to this industry in 1994,” she says. “I was so excited I jumped in with both feet and hit the ground running!” Today Kathy is a Bioceutica Independent Consultant. She lives in Tulsa with her husband and best friend Don, and has one son, Eric, 32 (“the best son I could have ever imagined”), with whom she shares an 11 year old “grand dog” named Duke. In her spare time, she loves relaxing with her husband, singing, listening to all kinds of music, shopping, traveling and visiting old friends and family. Here, in her own words, is Kathy’s story:

I believe we are here for a reason.
I joined Bioceutica as a Consultant in October 2012 because I had heard that Candace Keefe was CEO. I knew her by reputation as a passionate and caring person with amazing vision, leadership and integrity, who brings the most innovative products to the market. She has earned enormous respect in our industry, and is someone I’ve always looked up to.

When I started in Bioceutica, we had just started an exciting new compensation plan, and our products were primarily customized vitamins and nutritional supplements. As a skincare person, I didn’t become very active until we launched the Intuitive by Nature skincare line two months later. I didn’t take vitamins myself, so I wasn’t really interested in that part of the business. However, after about seven months of listening to other consultants’ testimonies—and because I had always been taught that to really soar in this business you must be a product of the product—I decided to get tested and try Custom Essentials. I also started taking Proflorin. I can report that since faithfully taking both of these products, not only do I have tons of energy, but a condition I have called “Barrett’s Esophagus” has ceased causing me any problems!

It’s all about helping others reach their dreams.

These products are truly amazing! The Intuitiv skin and hair care products are the best out there. When I first tried them, I saw results immediately. I love the opportunity to talk to others about this fantastic business and our amazing products. I love sharing the products, and helping others to set their goals and reach their dreams. I love the freedom of being your own boss and meeting new people. All businesses have their highs and lows, but I believe that to do any business successfully takes a determined spirit and keeping your eyes focused on your dreams and goals.

In November of 2013, I had the opportunity to meet with my upline in Dallas, TX during a “Tour of Gratitude” event. I was thrilled to be able to reconnect with Candace, and meet Kim Kearns and Kim Henson. They are such great leaders and set a wonderful example for all of us to follow! It was two days of fabulous training with the best of the best. I don’t think I’ve ever learned so much or had so much fun!

The people I have met in this company are amazing. Our corporate team in Massachusetts is always there to support us in the field. They are always so ready to help with what we need, and are very encouraging. They are the BEST! I am also blessed and so grateful to have Kim and Cathi setting great examples as my upline, and for my sponsor Liz Simpson, who is such a great friend and leader. Also in my upline is Kim Henson. I appreciate her so much. She is so sweet and ready to help at any time.

I am also a great believer in personal growth. To keep me grounded and focused, I love listening to the CDs of John Maxwell, and to Michael S. Clouse’s “Recipe for Success”. One of my favorite books is The Blessing of Favor by Kate McVeigh. It teaches us that favor, or blessing, is not based on our background, talents, or anything we have earned. Uncommon favor is available to everyone. It’s promised in the Bible. All we have to do is believe.

I am so thankful to be in Bioceutica and look forward to moving to the top and being the best leader and friend I can be. I believe I am here for a reason, and I am so excited to be on the journey.
